Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants must meet the following state and local requirements to be eligible for this position:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited program

Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology

Must meet any additional requirements set forth by the local school district
-
Successful completion of Live Scan fingerprinting and background check
-
Experience working in K12 school settings is preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
-
Interpret assessment results and communicate findings with IEP teams
-
Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
-
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective student support strategies
-
Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
-
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students overall well-being and academic success
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
